The competition was held in Yankton and consisted two separate categories. One category was Welding Art and the other was Welding functionable items. The top 3 schools also earned awards for overall favorite items entered.
Jaxon Heine won 1st place in the the Artistic category.
Vermillion High School earned 2nd place overall.
