Welcome to Vermillion High School!

Students at Vermillion High School are able to select from as many as 50 varied course offerings. In addition to core subjects, honors or advanced placement courses are available in English, math, science and social studies. Dual-credit college and technical courses are available. Students are prepared for work in the 21st century through a variety of computer-based courses. All high school students are equipped with laptops.

• Fine Arts: Many opportunities are available to students in band, chorus, theater/drama, and art. Various performance and contest experiences are offered.
• Languages: Spanish and German.
• Debate and Oral Interpretation programs.
• Career and Technical Education: one-to-one technology, welding, building trades, residential construction, metals and manufacturing, culinary arts, and graphic design.
• Boys & Girls Club tutoring.
• EnvisionED a cross-curricular, cross-grade-level, collaborative "Teach Like Finland" community-based problem-solving activity.
• Student Organizations & Clubs: Student Council, National Honor Society, Native American, Chinese Language study, SADD, Educators Rising, Quiz Bowl, Science Olympiad, Outdoor Explorers and other various clubs.
• Athletic Programs: basketball, tennis, cross-country, track, golf, football, softball, wrestling, volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, club baseball, and bowling.
• Two gymnasiums for varsity and sub-varsity volleyball, basketball and wrestling events, complete gymnastics facility, and a 700+ seat theater
