Students at Vermillion High School are able to select from over 60 varied course offerings.  In addition to core subjects, honors or advanced placement courses are available in English, Math, Science and Social Science. Students are prepared for work in the 21st century through a variety of computer-based courses such as computer hardware, web design, graphics, and computer applications.

  • Fine Arts: Many opportunities are available to students in band, chorus, theater/drama, and art.  Various performance and contest experiences are offered.
  • Languages: Spanish and German
  • Debate and oral interp programs, yearbook and school newspaper
  • Technology: Wireless labs and wireless mobile labs, SMART Boards.  Offerings in CTE (Career and Technical Education), architectural drawing (CAD), welding, drafting, building trades, and auto mechanics (state award-winning)
  • Student Organizations: Student Council, National Honor Society, and SADD
  • Sports Programs: School-sponsored boy’s and girl’s tennis, golf, basketball, cross-country, track, boy’s football and wrestling; girl’s volleyball and gymnastics; and club baseball, bowling, soccer, and softball
