Vermillion Thespians to Perform Comic One-act Play

Vermillion High School drama students are building invisible walls, tooting on kazoos, tying balloons, and becoming insects in preparation for their performance of “Antics.” This comic movement show was originally created by VHS students in 2019 for their performance in Edinburg Scotland. It maintains the original pantomime and music style while adding some fresh creativity. This year’s show will be entered in the Regional South Dakota High School Activities Association One-act play contest.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see VHS actors strut their stuff. Show time is 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. It is free and open to the public. Masks are required and social distance seating will be in place. Friday night’s performance will also be live-streamed via the Vermillion School District web page.
