Vermillion High School students will be presenting The Perils of Lulu by William Gleason on Friday January 18th at the Thomas H. Craig Center for Performing Arts. This silly comedy follows the play’s protagonist, Lulu Barnes, in her quest to deliver a basket of goodies to her granny. On the way, she endures a series of outlandish misfortunes and eccentric characters.
This 45 min. production will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on the Vermillion High School stage. It is free and open to the public. After Friday’s performance, the 28-student cast and crew will take the show on the road to the Region IA, South Dakota High School Activities Association’s One-Act Play Contest held at Mt. Marty College on Tuesday January 22nd at 9:00 a.m.
