This video provides tips for parents of K-12 students navigate the stress, uncertainty, worry, and other emotions associated with returning to school during COVID-19. I explain how emotional intelligence and resiliency are connected and provide suggestions to parents on how to help support their child. Educational Resources Link – This includes many free applications and subscriptions that parents can sign up for in order to keep their children learning during the school closure. Many of these resources are used by our teachers daily, and some of them typically have a cost associated with them but the vendors have waived their fee while schools are closed nationwide.
A grab and go free lunch (and a breakfast for the following day) will be served to children 0 to 18 starting Monday, March 16th. This will take place at the Vermillion Middle School from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday through the Summer.
